Resurrection/Devils Pass July 19

We had a small but strong group for Sunday's ride with NO RAIN!

Danika takes five at the Falls Creek bridge.  Coach Janice finds a nice chair.

Maddy leads the charge to Swan Lake and our turnaround point.  26 miles out and back!

Gerry, Maddy and Jacques ride the rim of Juneau Lake.  The Fireweed has never been brighter!

The wildflowers are in full bloom:  delphineum, monk's hood, lupine.

This is a weed.  Well, maybe not but I sure would like to know what it is!

July 14 Kincaid Race

Another gorgeous evening for a mountain bike race!  Zoey, Hannah, Michaela and Alex are warmed up and ready to go.

Crescent Lake Ride

June 21, 2009

Brave souls not intimidated by Anchorage rains persevered and found dry trail at Crescent Lake.  Rain or shine, Mighty Bikes ride and sometimes are pleasantly surprised!

The group makes it up to the cabin.

A pause for a reflective moment and maybe a snack.  Luke takes a thrill ride out from the singletrack.

Only the hard core come out on a rainy night!  Luke left a little mud out on the trail!

Ready, set, GO!!!  Mighty Bikers head for the grouping ride on the first night of Mighty Bikes!

POWERLINE PASS 7-27-08

Only the Hard Corps Showed for the Powerline Ride. But guess what! It was gorgeous weather up the pass!

This is a HUGE sand dune made by the natural powers of the wind off of Turnagain Arm

Relentless wind pushes sand toward land and swallows everything in its path!

 RESURRECTION 7-20-08

Nineteen Mighty Bikes and Parents went Up and Over Resurrection Pass!

The Cooper Trailhead Group prepares for the ride.  Meanwhile, the Hope Trailhead Group starts up the trail from the north end of Resurrection Pass.  At the mid-point of Devils Pass, the two groups swapped car keys!
